- The Library of Congress has a Flicker feed for items in the Public Domain. They also have a collection called Free to Use and Reuse.
- Unsplash - beautiful photos you can use which are copyright free. You have to sign up for an account which is also free.
- Photos for Class - a search engine for copyright approved items to be used in educational settings. Citations are included!
- Pixabay - offers free images and videos for use to those who sign up for a free account.
- Freefoto: Copyright free images. Please read their usage guidelines first.
- Pics4learning: A website where you can find pictures or download your own for others to use for educational purposes.
- A post titled 12 Good Places to Find Creative Commons and Public Domain Images includes information on each site as well as links to them.

- Classic Cat offers free classical music to use in projects
- Educational Background Music No Copyright by Alec Koff is a YouTube channel full of free music to use for educational purposes.
- Bensound - Royalty Free Music. Please read requirements for use. They offer a free version (with attribution meaning you have to cite your source) and a paid licensed version.
- Purple Planet: Royalty Free music. Please read requirements for use of their product.
